When you hit it, insist that she refer to you only as “Mr. Wiggles”.

So what will it be diagonal, across, or up and down. x’s or o’s???

1)  I’m not married, so that’s not an issue.

2)  I work in finance, but not in production yet, too young to blow my
chance at a wirehouse when I will have a much stronger network when I’m
a little older.

3)  I don’t want to date her friends.  She’s fun to talk to,
and looks are definitely not the main reason I’m interested in her.

4)  There was no work to do the other day, that’s why the whole tic-tac
toe thing came up.  I’m in training and I’ve already completed all my
work until next week, they won’t give me anymore.  I started a week
earlier than normal so I have an extra week before my training class
begins.

5)  She’s definitely the self-respecting type of girl or else I wouldn’t be talking to her.

Any suggestions for the first date?

Take her to the track.  Girls love horses and gambling.

I thought you meant the NASCAR track.  Chicks dig that, too.  100,000 screaming rednecks wathcing guys turn left over, and over, and over.....

Yeah... Its easy. Start a conversation with her about how stressful your traineer job is, and how you would love to get a drink after work at that cozy little lounge near where you both live.... Then..... You ASK her to join you....

Its REALLY hard to do, so take some time by working up to that stage... Good luck buddy- the RR boys are really hoping it works out.

Do something clever when you ask her out. Clever - but not cheesy. (i.e. "That's a great outfit, but it would look even better rumpled up on the floor next to my bed tomorrow morning!")

I once had a guy pull up next to me at a stop light, smile. Next stop light, he had taken his day planner, and written with a black pen in large letters "DINNER???" and was smiling. He was a good looking guy in a nice truck, I thought it was cute.

Ok nice story but the real question is "did you give him some or no?"

Yes....eventually.

And I still do......nobody can rock it like Mr. Devoted!

I picked up a girl on a flight home by paying for 2 sets of headphones for the in-flight movie and asking the flight attendent to give one to her.  :)

And before you ask, No, we didn't join the mile-high club that flight.

I have flown at least four times a month for thirty years and have never had to pay for headsets--you need to choose your air line better.

do you get a set for the dog as well?

Jul 26, 2006 6:24 pm
do you get a set for the dog as well?
Nah, he gets drunk on the Mimosas served before we take off and is no good for the rest of the flight.

Jul 26, 2006 6:27 pm

NASD Newbie at the dog park....

"Excuse me miss, Mr Wiggles and I come here EVERY day and I dont recall seeing you before. We would have noticed someone as lovely as you. Oopsie! I happen to have an extra poopy bag here, I'd be happy to pick that up for you."

Sheesh.... Don't listen to these guys. They are giving you stupid advice.

Just chat with her and find out what kind of movies, food, books she likes.  People love to talk about themselves.  Be friendly and share some stories and stuff about you too.  Women like to talk   and get to know a person before committing to much more of a relationship.  Invite her to lunch away from the office a few times. Sometimes girls want to pay half to show they are independent and can't be bought....so if she wants to pay let her after a few token tries to pay anyway.

In a while you might ask her to a nice dinner, a movie or go to an amusement park.   If she has a favorite author or music you might buy her a book or CD as a small and not overly expensive gift.

Just be yourself.
