Hello All,

I applied for the FAA program at MS a couple of weeks ago and passed the online exams, phone interview and online video interview. The recruiter emailed me letting me know that he passed my application onto the branch manager for review, who will contact me when they have reviewed the application with next steps. How long does it usually take for the BM to email me back with a yes/no answer? If they don't get back to me soon, would it be better to reach out to the recruiter or try the BM directly? Also, how long should I wait before doing so? I really want this job, but also don't want to overstep. If this was a client it would be easy since there are a ton of other clients out there so I wouldn't care about being pushy, but I really want to work at Morgan.

Thanks in Advance.

The process took me 6 months from application to start date. If your resume was passed onto management then Im sure you will at least get an interview. I would give a little bit of time for the process to be honest. Adding a trainee isn't always #1 priority and sometimes with managing day to day tasks it might take a little while for them to get the time to review your information. If 2 weeks passes I would get in touch with your recruiter about it. The manager may be on vacation etc. The recruiter will get in touch with the manager for you so you dont catch them off guard.

hey thanks for the response. I emailed the recruiter who said she doesn't know why they haven't answered me but if they haven't said no I'm still in the running. I then found the BM online before reading your advice and sent him an email. If you don't mind, do you have a way for me to contact you to ask you some questions?
