New books should be coming out in the next few weeks.
You can figure out how many points you get on Jonesnet. Search for bonus points diversification trip. Click the first link. And a Pud like him will be showered with praise at the regional meetings while everyone else has to sit there and eat it.
Seriously, enough pounding on this guy. I was one…and I regret it. Hope you get the trip!!! I will get one soon as well, unfortunately, no more bonus points for me except the 4000 for doing my business plan!
I expect when he stops asking questions that allow him to brag about his numbers people will stop being a prick to him.
I’d venture to guess that may not be a very accurate statement. His only hope of not getting beat up everytime he posts is to create a new screen name and start over.
I believe the 4000 business point plan only counts for the sept-april contest period and only for segments 2 or higher.
Ok - we all know I was one of THE hardest on Wind (see the respect there - I capitalized it). But he’s got a great point volt. There is no way you can squeeze out of that one. A thread started about you, by you.
And since Wind has proven that he at least is putting up the numbers - I think it might be a little jealousy.
Anyway Wind, I have to agree with Spiff. Your best bet is to create a new screen name and stop using ellipses.
Oh and by the way - awesome job!
You too volt. That post that Wind painted - awesome.
Nevermind, I changed my mind. I posted on this name last week and stashed it away for a rainy day. Now we can all move on with our lives. Moraen, are you with Jones?
Wind - no I am not at Jones.
I own an RIA and do only fee-based and fee-only business.
I used to be at Jones. My first few months were pretty good, but not as good as yours. I spent three years there. There are some of my anti-Jones rants on these boards. But it was a good start, and I learned what I did not want to be doing. I had a really bad experience there with our region, and in my general Jones experience. I chose to hear what I wanted to hear when I got hired and not the rest. I am firmly placing the blame on my shoulders this time (you hear that Jonesies!). Some regions are great - I firmly believe the people who choose to stay do so because they have had good support and have not seen the crap that goes on in some of these regions.
Good luck with the Jones thing. We just opened two new offices and hired some new advisors - if you’re not happy with Jones in 3 years…

Wow...a kinder & gentler Moraen...I interpreted that as "I LOVE EDJ"...lol....
Nevermind, I changed my mind. I posted on this name last week and stashed it away for a rainy day. Now we can all move on with our lives. Moraen, are you with Jones?
Yes. Therapy is good stuff.
HKA - I DO love EDJ. I’ve managed to hire some of their Seg 3 brokers. They train them well, and then treat 'em like dirt (this region!). Let’s me swoop in and hire!
