Still… did you even try to convince them you were turning things around or were you so down trodden you just took the beating and figured to look elsewhere? Maybe it is just my region but theres an FA out here almost 3 years in production WITH an office (She took it while exceeding expectations right after PDP and the guy who opened it left Jones after year 1) and is still in seg 1 and I have heard no talks about her going anywhere!
Every time I spoke with someone, I had something new that I was trying that I would talk about and every time I feel I demonstrated energy and determination to succeed.

One thing they did that was stupid was to never set an ultimatum or deadline; you know, like: open 8 new accounts this month or you are gone. or, you have 4 weeks to be up to standard or you are gone.

All I got was “show some improvement soon or there will be an employment decision”. It’s hard to believe they have 35,000 employees and don’t know the value of clear & concise goals.

Dude, we have set quotas every couple months. It was outlined in the interview process. Stop blaming them for your failure. You suck. Its ok, its not the end of the world. You can still be good at something else. Take it like a man. You sucked, deal with it.

If you looked at how many people failed in their respective fields, and became winners, you might be surprised.

He just needs to go somewhere else, and forget about Jones. If he likes the industry I say keep going.

Bingo! Everyone fails at some point in their life, it is what we learn from that failure which makes the difference. There is no shame in failing, so long as e grow and learn from it. Some of the most interesting people that I know have dusted themselves off repeatedly, only to eventually succeed in the end. In this business, or any business for that matter, there is no bigger asset than persistence. It is perhaps the single greatest factor in success. If you love this business, then make a decision to stay put, and tie into it with a vengeance.

Weddle Me:
Chicken, Get a job. I agree with B24. I look at my wife and I can’t imagine not putting my all into building a business. Day in and day out. The days that it sucks, the days that it doesn’t. I plan on taking a few months off, when I finally have someone to run my business like I run it - 10 years from now.

Is putting your all into it posting on Registered Rep in the middle of the morning?
Weddle Me is Volt, Just so you guys know.
