Knowing that it can vary greatly between firms, how would I get breakdowns of compensation for the majors? I would like to see a grid and AUM expectations. I realize that this is elementary for many of you but I would like to play with the numbers and see which firms have the best long term potential.
Thanks!
You are an idiot.
Please go sell cell phones to idiots.
The best company to work for is the company that has the best management, offerings, services so that you can do the best for your customer. When you do the best for your customer, your base will grow and your compensation will grow.
But, again you are an idiot.
A place for newbies and wannabes to have their questions answered
I copied this from the heading of this board. I am sorry that I took this as meaning that I could get my questions answered. But most of all I am sorry that I offended you VBRAINY......oh great one!
Well, ask a meaningful question.
Not "how much can I get paid" when you haven't provided any value.
idiot.
Why so harsh VBRAINY? You act as if you are interviewing me and I am asking…“so when do I get paid and how much”. I see this forum as a place where I can ask the questions that aren’t appropriate for potential employers. I am sorry that you are so bitter. Does it make you feel tough calling me an idiot. If so, please continue. In fact I can change my screen name to idiot84 if that will make you feel superior. Just let me know. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Don't take things so personal in here. I'm finding out that unless you've been called an idiot or a moron, or just a complete dumba$$, that you're not really welcome in here until you are.
So, welcome to the forum.
In any case, do a search on my screen name and you will find several of my posts regarding the breakdown of payouts amongst the major wirehouses. If you are looking at getting into a training program, and I DO RECRUIT for them, but Smith Barney is the best way to go for many reasons, including how much they pay.
Good luck!
