Hey Guys,

Anyone have to create a business plan when interviewing at a new firm?

If so, what did you guys put into it? How detailed was it?

Any help would be great!

thanks,

awd39…Business Plan Ask the prospective employer what is their business plan.

No. However, 6 months into working for one firm they asked us to put together a biz plan. I put one together that was based on my own research and experience at that point in time. It included realistic goals based on my capability and cost projections for the purposes of the multiple point marketing plan I was going to use out of my own pocket. Mine was the only one that was clear and realistically useable and the management used it as an example to the rest of the group. At that time I beat my original goals by an additional 15 % that year.

A business plan is a great thing to put together, it can help you stay on track to your goals and help you to clarify what is realistically achievable for the stage you are in your career. The best part is meeting and or exceeding the goals of your plan.
