Boiler Room Vs. Wallstreet

I saw Wallstreet a long time ago and Boiler Room just after landing my consultant job... Are there any other movies like these two out there?
I don't remember Wallstreet all that well, but Boiler Room was awesome...Ben Aflecks scenes were cool, but was it better than Gordon Gecko? I dunno...
No way was it better than Gecko. I think Affleck was just trying to channel Douglas. The best scene in the movie was when Affleck, Diesel and Caan are doing the scene from Wallstreet while watching it. Just my .02.
Glengarry Glen Ross 1992. Excellent.
. . aaaah what sales people will do for leads.

Those movies were a hoot, but they never really hit home, unless you’ve been in the biz!
If you have the fire and passion to succeed either movie gives your goosebumps.
Yeah, if you like to trade like those weazels. Great movie, bad ethics. Too bad there are brokers just like that.
I admit they were both great movies. But, its hard to believe that the brokers (hustlers) portrayed in either movie could sleep at night.
I honestly don’t know how anyone could be in the business, and NOT have seen Wall Street and Boiler Room. As bad as the business ethics are portrayed in both movies, I would like the energy of Bud fox’s office in my office. Nowadys, you can hear a pin drop in a brokerage office.
Check out a film called Rogue Trader. Not a bad film about the guy who bankrupted Barings Bank.
Nick Leeson, right?
American Psycho- “So what do you do?”. " I’m into Murders and Executions… I mean, mergers and acquisitions."
“…I sold that building for an $800,000 profit. It was better
than sex. Back then I thought that was all the money in the
world…[light cigarette and snap the Zippo closed]…now its just a
days pay. Anyway…”
Wait, I have the best one. The Great Outdoors with John Candy and Dan Ackroid. Dan plays “Roman” a busted financial advisor. GREAT STUFF.
