Hi,

I’m looking at becoming a car broker in the UK. I have worked in the car trade for 2 years and have very good market knowledge.

The trouble is I am finding it almost impossible to find any decent information on the internet and haven’t got a clue where to start. I was wondering if anyone could give me any information on where to start and any licences I may need?

Thanks.

This is a site for investment professionals.  Google "car broker".

I’m a pimp in New Jersey, no licenses need. Excellent training. Just get used to the stank.

I also want to sell cars.  I’m worried because I used to work for Edward Jones and have to disclose that on my resume.  Do you think that it will hurt me?  Will auto customers respect someone that used to sell investments?

Do you mean selling Ford preferreds non syndicate on the secondary market?

I'd just call the Queen. In my view, when cold calling you should start at the top and work your way down.  Here is her contact information (I told you guys I have a hell of a rolodex)    (+44) (0)20 7930 4832   You can also send her mail at: Her Majesty The Queen

I’m thinking of becoming a cigar broker in the new Cuba! Less time in the air.
