Appointments

I’m hitting the phones hard this week and would love some feedback on how you’ve secured appointments in the past. What do you say? I have what Jones taught me in Eval/Grad and want to learn some other approaches.
Also, when you can do you pitch a product and then transition into the appt. or go straight for the meeting?
Doesn’t matter what you say, it matters how often you say it. That is no magic formula that will make you feel comfortable making the calls. Don’t worry about the results, just count the dials. If someone hangs up, give yourself a hash mark, you leave a message - hash mark, not interested - hash mark, screw off - hash mark, send me info-hash mark, set appt - hash mark. Read The Excellent Investment Advisor by Nick Murray and read the Chapter on Painless Prospecting. Keep track of your hash marks and try to improve your daily average each week.
Spot on Ron.
Volt - right now all you are doing is building a war chest of contacts and connections. You'll get better with every pitch. Get momentum and KEEP momentum. KickingOk, 60 dials, 2 appts., 6 money dues, 26 contacts (had an appt. mid day)
I hope to replicate tomorrow with a few more dials and more face to face.
Good ratio of dials to contacts, you do that everyday and you are gold my friend
