Sorry if this has been discussed repeatedly, but I was wondering how
you all would compare the Series 66 to the Series 7.  I know its a
much shorter test, and the subject matter is more narrow in scope, but
overall is it more/less difficult than the 7?  Should i be
scared?  I only have about 3 weeks to prepare for it…

I prepared for one week & Aced it…if that is any indication.  Good luck.

I thought it was more difficult, not by much though and only b/c it seemed there were more questions where two of the answers could be correct…it was just more detailed specific information

Scorpio,

I just took the 66 a week ago. The 7 is much more difficult but the 66 is tricky. Three weeks study time should be fine. I studied for about 4 weeks.  I would not recommend the Dearborn material for the 66 although it was good for the 7. If you have the option use STC or Passtrack. Good luck!

No way the 66 is harder.  It is less material and some of the same material in the 7.  Difference is that they try to trick you on the questions.  Always pick the ethical answer and always pick the answer that is best for the customer.  Good luck.
