You could get a job as an assistant that would allow you the possibly to get into the production side if you wanted to.

  Not sure about compliance and what they look for. I don't think the standards are very high though

For compliance, you’ll need to get a 24 and 66 within a certain amount of time.  You’ll need a college degree and a general interest in Compliance.  But it really depends on the firm.  If you do BD compliance, you’ll want to shoot yourself in the face - Yes, FAs can be whinny babies that complain about the stupidest sh*t.
