Who's buying whom

With all the take overs and mergers. What is the latest. Things are eerily and quiet here at SagePoint formerly AIG Advisor Group even senior people don't know what is going to happen. Supposedly, there was several bids about a week ago. But since then no word. Then I get a call from a recruiter that mentioned Ameriprise, and I reacted with disgust. I don't know about the rest of you but I am tired of living in limbo. The government should get out of our business and let us do our jobs.
