Any idea on the $ production these moves represent? Wondering how big or not the players are. I’ve seen RJA take some $300k guys from us lately.

That doesn’t show, but the St. Louis guys have been in production since '70, '80, and '82.  The others had between 10-20 years.

I wonder what the other million registered reps are doing today, now that we've accounted for these 10.

Pretty funny Hank.  My bet is a hundred or more moves happened today. RJA got their share I guess.

[quote=illinoisrep]Three of these guys are from my office. Nice guys. One can be a little grumpy from time to time. I wish them well.

I wonder if the RJA folks knew about the grumpiness?    Do you suppose?!

Our team (2 Advisors / 2 assistants) recently moved to RJA from a wirehouse.  Our trailing twelve is 1.6 million and we thought the branch system worked best for us.  Have a great manager and we feel home again.  We were long time AGE Advisors and believe Ben Edwards had it right.  Take care of the client and production will follow.

8 more announced so far today coming to RJA.

4 from Baird joining Ft. Wayne. 1 from Morgan Keegan in Mempho. 3 from Smith B. in Scottsdale.   Word is that the SE region has a metric ton of transitions in the works, set to hit in the next couple of weeks.

Is that more than a regular ton? Sorry, I've been American all my life.

Using brie, scones and French peasants, the metric ton is approximately 12% heavier than the US ton.  Or I could have just made that up.

It’s also a whole, whole lot. Gotcha!

Willing to bet my 3rd nut none of these guys are very large. RJ has a FAT pipeline I hear from recruiters but it's full of $250k-$350k guys from ML and, Barney and others either in or fearing the penalty box.  No diss on the firm here, but let's be honest, its' perfect for the lower end FA and not super attractive if a guy can get a check.

FYI - RJ began curtailing Home Office visits for <$500k FCs in October, lowered their transition packages across the board and dropped grid on $300k and below on Dec. 10th. In addition they lowered Branch Mgr. comp at the same time.

In other news - Midwest legacy AGE team ($1 mil+) jumped to Stifel today.
