Danny Ludeman
You have no more credibility.
You should resign.
And he needs to take speaking classes, or maybe join Toastmasters. Every other sound out of his mouth is “um”.
What a clown. Dance danny dance. Peddle your bs somewhere else. You can take your 4 front and jam it. He could not deliver on his repeated promises. How many times did he say we would get retention, would be happy with it, and that he knew we deserved it?
LIAR. WS is a freakin JOKE. His idea of retention is for me to call my clients... It's retention allright but not they way he thinks. Listen up DL, I have been in very close contact with MY CLIENTS which makes it all much easier for to RETAIN THEM when I leave.
This guy is such a sack of crap!!!
How does a guy named Danny get to run a company? Name me one Danny that ever did anything in this world. I mean, besides Danny Bonaduce…
Danny Bonaduce would make a better CEO
Hearty congrats for hosebag of the Century. Thought reference to ‘whats best for America’ was classic. Douche. OTOH, it was polite of him to wish me and my family a great weekend.
Obviously, Danny has decided to simply do his job; to follow the direction and instructions of his employer. Now you have the opportunity to either accept or reject that same option yourselves.
danny gets no free pass here. he made promises over and over for something that had not been requested.
he didn't deliver and should tender his resignation monday morning.
danny gets no free pass here. he made promises over and over for something that had not been requested.
he didn't deliver and should tender his resignation monday morning.
Hey, according to Danny, you are not being "patriotic"!his condescending tone was sickening…
firm will lose 1000 brokers by month's end and 5000 by tax dayThought reference to ‘whats best for America’ was classic.

I thought I was listening to JFK for a second.
Danny really insulted our intellegence with that bullsh1t today. He sounded like that guy that sells that rag on TV , DL was selling his @ss off.
SCAMNOW is what he tried selling us today. Did you notice he did not take any questions. Not only is he a liar but a coward too. He pussed out becuase he knows he would have got his rear handed to him.THe firm, in my opinion, has been not telling the truth since the famous “roadshows” back in 07. My regional tried to sell me all the stuff they are still saying back in '07. And then my office evaporated because of the lack of communication from the firm. There is no one left and they replaced us with FC’s from out of town.
Abuse Bank of America/Merrill, but at least they already paid retention to the top producers.I happen to like Dummy Ludicris (sp?)
I’m an ex-pru mgr who left in 2003 during the merger. I knew this day would come with this guy at the helm. I’m actually enjoying this. We call WS “Hee Haw Securities” at my firm because of this knucklehead and his “posse”. Nothing like coming through for your loyal FA’s. From serving jumbo prawns in his back yard in Richmond in 2003 to woo the pru fa’s, to this. This guy played the bs waiting game with retention bonuses just like he did with AGE. Great retention strategy…If he would have acted when he should have, WS FA’s would have received a bonus. The climate was different just 4 months ago. How ca MSSB do it but he can’t? This one will KILL this firm. Other than the day the ML retention packages were announced, the happiest day of my career. I manage a branch at a major competitor. I’m destroying ML. Now, I’m going to clean WS out. I didn’t leave my office until 8 tonight and I’m seeing people already tomorrow. Thank you Danny. I am forever grateful. Enjoy those prawns Danny, sorry you’ll be eating alone.
well said. are you ex-pru by any chance?
During previous calls since Wells Fargo announced it would buy Wachovia, Ludeman and other executives have a**ured brokers that they would be compensated for staying with the new company.
However, brokers and recruiters have said that expectations about the size or possibility of a deal were being lowered as four months had pa**ed since the announcement of the acquisition and no offer had been made.
Top-producing brokers are being offered as much as 200% of production to change employers and, with no retention package at Wachovia, they will be more likely to do so.
Some recruiters are already preparing to reach out to Wachovia's financial advisers.
"My firm will be working all weekend speaking to Wachovia advisers," said Darin Manis, chief executive of RJ & Makay, a recruiting firm.
"Many of them have been waiting to see what the retention deal will be before deciding if they want to look at other firms to go to or not. Now they have their answer," he said.
Wachovia hired more than 170 brokers in January, paying out large signing bonuses to bring them aboard.
"They can afford to pay millions for new brokers, but they can't reward people who have been loyal to the firm for years," said a Wachovia broker in the southern U.S. "It is just insulting to us."
Client1st…Sorry, but you can’t compare Shamwow to Ludeman. Shamwow actually works.
Danny has mastered charging clients more through sneaky ways like the bank sweep, desk mark ups, and structured products, and he has mastered paying brokers less with haircuts and benefits cuts, ticket charges etc. He is no leader. He is the polar opposite of men like Ben Edwards and Ron Kruzewski. Wells Fargo advisors might end up being a great place for brokers and clients, but not with Ludeman at the helm. This business is built on trust, and you can’t trust him…period.
He shall henceforth be known as Duplicitious Danny
Left AGE/Wachoverya in Nov of '07 after I listened to this guy twice, amused many of you weren’t more intuitive!
This house just went on the market in St Louis. Looks like it would be perfect for DL.
A Cave House
I think DL will be laying low 4 a while…unless jv w/ UBS retail falls into place. As it stands now, he’s toast with sales force.
I am ex Pru and I am glad I left when Wachovia took over.
This is one screwed up business!!! IndyEDJ
Is there anyone out there who knows anything about FiNet? Is it just more of the same with a higher payout l? or should I tear off the band aid with one swipe and go to RJ or LPL. Thanks Readnecks w/ Money
It's worth exploring...but yes, there are some of the same elements envolved but w/ a higher payout.I know I really miss the Danny ummm. ummmm calls
Thanks Nestegg…are you with FiNet now? I am heading to STL to visit. Any questions you advise I ask? Are you realatively happy?
Going to FiNet is going from the frying pan into the fire. Get away from this trainwreck.

you guys missing the real culprit strump et al is the bad guy danny is, sadly, the pawn WFC is the evil empire. they think FA's over paid
I don't believe there was any love lost for Robert Bagby either. I read something that before he left the firm he found his car keyed in an employee lot.

you guys missing the real culprit strump et al is the bad guy danny is, sadly, the pawn WFC is the evil empire. they think FA's over paid
This is spot on. big time. They are so arrogant too. They think they are GS. I swear that balance sheet is closer to C then JPM. WFC wants us in kiosks at the mall making $50,000.Source URL:https://www.wealthmanagement.com/forums/whats-firms/danny-ludeman
