What should I be looking for?

Since the majority of the people on here are seasoned industry professionals I thought it would be a good idea to get your opinions on my situation.
I am currently in the financial industry (sub-prime) but due to some shake-ups I've decided it's best if I move on. I want to work for a brokerage firm but without my 7 and 66 I know I'm going to have to start from scratch. I've got plenty of sales experience and I know what it's like to stay positive and keep making calls in order to find business. What I really need to know is what firms should I be looking into? Or at least, what things should I be looking for in a firm?

How much training they will provide, how long they give you a training pay, what the hurdles are and if you think you can reach them, do you like the branch manager, etc.
