Wells Fargo Advisors
It seems that most of the posts regarding Wells Fargo Advisors are negative to say the least. For those advisors that work for WFA or formally worked at WFA, what are the positives?
I've heard the old AG Edwards training is a plus as is the old FINET. Where else do they stand out above the other traditional wirehouses?Just to clarify there are only 2 wires left… Isn’t FINET the indy side of Wells(Wach)
positives positives positives positives nope cant think of any now. I’ll let you know when I do… wait I hear some firms charge for coffee, we get free coffe. Never mind have you seen the grid, we pay for the coffee.
What firms' are the last 2 wires?Just to clarify there are only 2 wires left… Isn’t FINET the indy side of Wells(Wach)
MSSB and Merrill. Come on man. Where have you been?
I was counting MSSB and UBS… Merrill is a bank
So, the name 'millionairemind' must not have anything to do with production. The grid provided an increase in payout for both legacy groups. That is, of course, assuming you are producing.positives positives positives positives nope cant think of any now. hundreddollarmind - How do you spell dumba$$? Is it with an “n” or an “m”?
Here is something to back it up.
- I pay no ticket charges (client pays)
- I take no haircut (I receive 100% of the revenue I generate)
- I pay for MoneyGuide Pro, but if that fee has any effect on someone, they should not be in this business.
- All of the other fees still put my payout at significantly higher than a wirehouse or regional.
Here is a question for you, hundreddollar mind: Why do you continue to let your boyfriend tug your thong so hard? It just makes you mad and has you post crazy stuff on registeredrep. You know, domestic violence can be stopped if you girls just start saying “no”.
I’d say theres a quite a few perks to WFA
They are the second largest full-service provider of retail brokerage services in the U.S. Third largest provider of managed accounts Probably sets the tone for name recognition and no i'm not a Wells-Fargo AdvisorWhat are you talking about? Sorry Mr. Perfect I mean duMba$$. No one was talking about your model or your payout. I was talking about the WFA grid. So you can spell but not read or are you insecure and lonely you troll registered rep to start shizzzznick I bet thets not how you spell itHere is something to back it up.

You quoted me hundreddollar mind. So, I responded to you quoting me and talking about backing stuff up. So I backed it up. There is likely much more insecurity on your side since you actually call yourself “millionairemind” (a little pretentious, and probably the result of short man’s syndrome).
Is “thet” about right? Dumbass.
Moron I meen Moraen yeahh thits rite u r righte. U be my spelin B champ. Thks 4 ur help. Maureen you beeeeaattchhh.
You’re welcome dumbass.
That username is pretty lame. I mean come on man. What are you 12? Whats does it mean anyways?
This thread is funny. I am confused about why you guys keep talking about stupid fish and why you keep spelling using shift-4.

The funny thing is, you make 2 accusations in this post, and they are both wrong!
1. The FACT is that NET / GROSS = actual payout.
2. You were PROVED to be a DUMBA$$, by a) spelling "dumbass" incorrectly, and b) not being smart enough how to calculate payout WHILE YOU WERE MAKING FUN OF SOMEONE ELSE FOR TALKING ABOUT PAYOUT.
Not sure why you think I'm @ EDJ, nor do I know why you think I knock on doors (although, I see no problem with it), and I have no clue why you'd think I use American Funds...
That being said...if you'd like to chat and/or debate finance right now, on this thread, I'll be MORE than happy to humiliate you.
1) I do know how to figure it out typeo but I made a mistake so ill man up and take your crap on it 2) I was not makeing fun of anyone. My point was only the numbers are as corp makes them out to be ( as this was a better deal then 40%) As to your EDJ it seems you enjoy giving everyone crap on almost every thread so I just haven a little fun sending some your was. Its was just a joke lighten up. I dont see anything wrong with the Jones model not for me - works for them
Positives about WFA…Let me think…
Seriously I am obviously a legacy AGE guy so most of the change has been negative from my perspective, but there are some positives 1. Some nice technology except contact management (broker vision where are you??) 2. Lower acct fees/nuisance fees to the clients than the other major firms 3. True open architecture--there has been zero product pressure 4. Very good fee based options(they should refund those 12b1 fees to the client; however, or pay us on them.) 5. Their bond inventory and selection is an upgrade from AGE. 6. Good marketing support--designing ads, etc. With a dedicated marketing support person. My negative list would be longer, but I think for the most part WFA is the best of the big 4 from all of my comparisons. (Have been recruited by all the other 3 and turned them down)
Great points. My negatives are only based on comp and they want to tie the client to the firm not the advisor. Not sure if I blame, I guess most would if they could. Just not sure if this is the place to build a business. You know who had a millionaire mind ? Ted Kaczynski.
This convo is hilarious!!! i love it!!
