Series 7 sponsor as part time

Hi,

I am currently working at ML as a part time Client Associate. Does anyone know if it is possible for me to be sponsored for the Series 7 and/or 66 without being a full time employee? I went to management and am awaiting a response, but if I am eligible I want to begin studying asap.
