I was wondering what good a series 7 license if you are not working for Merrill? They say they let you go if you don't pass it, the 66, or the life/health. I'm just curious to what someone could do if they don't work for a wirehouse, and have all these licenses?

There are plenty of places to sell securities other than at a wirehouse.
