Annuity Payouts?
Nov 17, 2009 5:14 am
I’m at a Mutual Ins Co B/D and I have been following their process even though I’m experienced in the biz. I heard someone ask about Annuity payouts the other day and I thought I heard one of the sales managers say annuity payout is 3% – I know I used to make a lot more than that.
What is your typical payout on VA or FA business and is 3% in todays world getting hosed?

3% for a SPIA or deferred fixed annuity sounds right.
Variables may be higher depending on what type payout you select.
Index annuities will be higher still.
