1.  He is not successful, therefore ex-broker won't care that he leaves...they would probably throw a party if he asked.

2.  He is successful and the wirehouse knows this.  They want him to bring over assets and will supply good lawyers to get the advisor and his clients.

That’s true, I have not been successful. I have also not been unsuccessful. I simply leveraged my way into a wirehouse and will begin my career on monday. I am pretty stoked to get going with it.

Yes I did. I forgot that all of management was out on a trip to Lake Geneva. My “mentor” was out as well. I told all the office staff and left a resignation letter on his desk. Gave back all the materials and data. You are all right on, I doubt they will care.
