Who are you kidding, you never worked an honest day in your life.

Slim, this is a career and not a job.  You have to think like a business owner and not an employee.  Otherwise, you will not succeed.

You will be making a serious mistake by letting 1st year salary be the determinent on how you make a 30+ year career decision.

The punk is a slacker which is why he wants to be in the biz.  He reads that it's the surest way to be a goof off later in life because guys like you tell him that it is.

It's a theme that infests these discussions--work hard for a few months and coast for the rest of your life.

That appleals to the slackers.

For the umpteenth time--the idea of being able to coast on trails is too new to be truly tested.  There has been precisely ZERO bear markets since the industry morphed from transaction oriented to asset gathering.

There are a great many wiser types who are just biding our time till almost all "advisors" fail because their clients race to cash and hard assets such as real estate and precious metals.

NASDy, you really shouldn’t include yourself in that ‘wiser’ group…you’ve never posted anything that would lead anyone to believe that you’re any wiser than an amoeba.
