RIA 2 custodians

Can a RIA have two custodians? For example use Scottrade for buying stocks and ETFs to take advantage 0f $7 a trade. Then have trade PMR to take advantage of the full line of products and technology that scottrade does not have.

yes. many ria do this. I have two firms I use.
