LPL move questions

As a previous post mentioned, I'm considering moving to LPL from Ameriprise and would like to know if anyone has been able to hold RiverSource Annuities at LPL? I have a 3mil in them and some have too high a surrender to justify surrendering them. Also, has anyone moved over to LPL in the recent year that can answer a few logistics questions. Thank you for any advice.
