Foresters (NCSF) life insurance

I’ve just been approached about selling life ins. for the National Catholic Society of Foresters.  I am pretty excited about it, due to the fact that many of these leads would be at least semi-warm and would get people in my doors.  Unfortunately, I neglected to ask the most important question in relation to this company…“Are they a captive company?”  I have a phone call in, but I’m waiting for a response.

In short, has anyone had any experience with this company?  Will I be able to maintain my relationships with other companies?   Thanks!

No - they are not captive.  But…most of the fraternal members do not have $.

I run across their policies a lot of times with farmers and blue collar types having small face value ULs and DI.  I’ve never seen any of their investment products and never ran into anyone having an active agent / relationship with them.  I’ve never heard anything bad about them.  They seem like a smaller version of Thrivent.

Much appreciated, everyone.  Thanks for the feedback.
