Evidencing Annual Compliance Requirements

Hey Guys - new to the forum. I am new to the RIA world and am wondering what the best way to evidence compliance, i.e. annual delivery of form ADV and Privacy Notice.
If anyone can give me an idea of how they document this, that'd be great.
