Soliciting a Municipality?

Does anyone have any tips?
Do you:
-Attend city council meetings?
-Contact the city treasurer?
-donate money to a political campaign?
How do you find out who currently manages the money?
fwiw, Our firm manages 200mm+, mainly SMA's, but we just launched a couple mutual funds. We are GIPS compliant and just passed the 10y mark, with an excellent track record. We mainly manage retail money with the exception of a couple family offices and a couple institutional clients. We have a 500k minimum for the SMA's.
