Scripts and how to write them

Feb 16, 2011 10:48 pm

Do you guys write scripts and follow it word for word or do you write an outline and follow that.  Or do you wing it and go off memory.  I have been building my book through cold calling for 2 years and was wondering these questions.

Thanks

Are you aware of the Finra rules regarding "scripts"?

It should be on your annual compliance questionairre. And you make a statement there, with your signature, penalty of perjury...

There are presentations, spiels, and there are scripts. You don't do scripts, scripts are bad, just ask Olde Discount....

Yes I do understand.  I see where I made my mistake.  Thank you for pointing that out.

Have your compliance team approve scripts before use......
