How to find Introducing Brokers

Michael, you may not like what I have to say but.....the above situation you described is a scam.  Go find a reputable broker/advisor at a quality independent or major brand name broker.  They will sit down with you and explain why the situation you described does not truly exist.

Dude, I'm not quite sure as how to respond. 

If it's the numbers that throw you, many hedgefunds have similiar results annually and also have Introducing Brokers on board.  The firm I'm now working for happens to be the 5th largest white label partner of Saxo Bank and they have both institutional and private investors on board.  Obviously, everybody does their homework.  Regarding their managed accounts, these are traded by professionals in each of their fields (Forex, Futures, Equities) and the firm has simply set up a fund behind each of their "MVPs."   

I've recently been given the role to find additional Introducing Brokers, or Financial Reps, etc. to assist in expanding the client base of this firm. The question is largely how and where does a person like myself one open up the channels of contact with additional IBs?

Not according to the Tremont hedgefund index.  Maybe a more accurate reply would have been "Some hedge funds have similar results"......to that I'd reply "So do some mutual funds".  Problem is that the likelihood of those gains persisting is extremely low for many reasons (too many to get into now).  Sure you might be lucky and be representing the next Joel Greenblatt (10 year annualized returns of about 40%) but I doubt it.

In order for most brokers/financial reps to represent your product it will have to be reviewed, approved and offered by their respective firms.  Each firm is going to have it's own due dilligence process and I can't really comment on how to get your foot in that door.
