Bill Good Seminars

Has anyone ever spent the money to attend on of Bill Good's Seminars?

Currently his line up is

Mike Robertson Master Class "High Net Worth Seminars"

The Whiz

No More Pies.

Looking for feedback on someone who has attended or know someone who has attended and if it is worth the money. Or if this is just another guy "peddling" the "silver bullet"...

Fluff crap...

Essentially you have to prospect more..

"No More Pies" is pointless if you have no clients.

I know Mike Robertson is a big producer, but not sure why he would want to share his "best tips"(granted at $10,000 a head he is probably getting $6000 of that for 2 days x the # of participants)..

Not sure what the "Whiz" is..

Prospect... that is the key... the rest is fluff.. Bill Good knows this.. His first book was great until the DNC came and he realized that he had lost his "it" product, so he switched to "seminars" Hot Topic book.. Now peddles classes for advisors willing to fly to Utah to listen to some guys tell the "secret" to becoming a huge advisor..

Actually, Good realized he needed vertical product integration long before the term DNC became part of the lexicon. He developed his Gorilla Marketing program in the eighties. Sometime around 1990 he developed his first master class program with a muni bond salesman named Bill Tennison. Tennison counted a Research Magazine Broker Hall of Fame membership  among the laundry list of professional accomplishments to go along with his $2,000,000 in annual production. In those days, a master class was something you bought, tapes and support materials, no Utah trip needed.

How good was it?  It saved my career! The Bill Tennison Master Class was "how to sell muni bonds" in a box. I think it cost me $1500 or $2500 and stands the test of time of being the best dollars i ever spent on my business.

I've looked at the No More Pies program and honestly think it's worth the $3500 cost. I believe it's aimed at those with a book. But, it surely could be used by a rookie who understands that there will be a next time and who wants to position himself as someone with a different story to tell.

Squash is right though, none of these programs will pick up the phone and dial it for you. However, working the programs should make one wealthy. I should know, it worked for me.

Bill Good is himself, a master salesman.  But, he's also the real deal. He'll supply the knowledge and the system, you supply the horsepower. The only unknown is: How long will it take you to get rich. because, understand this, you will get rich.

Oh, and one more thing: The Bill Good Pick the Cherries cold calling system still works today in the age of the DNC. You just gotta make the calls.

It's simple,  just not easy!

Great post...but why waste it here?

Bill Good has stood the test of time, very few people in finance do. Bond Guy, I enjoyed reading your personal real life story.

What he brings to the table I think, is the organization of running a big business efficiently, and a marketing machine to make it grow. He essentially compounds common sense, and sells a tested system.

Me, well, I did all the things he tells you not to do. Like spend months upon months of hours building my own CRM system. Unlike many of Good's clients, I had the computer skills and inclination to do so. I didn't have the money to go his direction, so that was part of it as well.

But, if a person has the money, decent sized book, and the desire to grow substantially, does not want to spend a fortune of time building a computer system, marketing machine, then why would a person NOT go to Bill Good?

We actually do still sell the old tapes/cds.  Some are classic.  They are not online. You would have to call 800-678-1480.  Press 0 for the operator.
