I guess I’m behind the times.
Here's a website for those a little twisted. (Hint: Turn your dead loved-one into a gemstone.) http://www.lifegem.com/index.aspx?BannerType=QuigoText&BannerMessage=LoveLivesOn I can see it now: On a secluded, romantic spot, Bob gives Carol a huge engagement ring. Carol asks, "How can you afford such a big diamond on your salary?" Bob responds, "Well, dad was a big man. So he chipped-in to help us out." (wink, wink) Note: If you have a "robust"-sized relative nearing their end time on this earth, a 6-carat diamond solitaire may be just around the corner!Jan 28, 2008 12:03 am
Wouldn’t this LOWER the economic value of a human life for insurance purposes?
Just my initial thought.Jan 28, 2008 12:23 am

Just my initial thought.[/quote] Here's a thought: In return for much lower life insurance premiums, you agree to have your remains diamond-ized and the resulting gem given to the insurance company for resale. The resale proceeds reimburse the insurance company for your lowered premiums. Everybody wins! Ummmm, I wonder if I could patent this idea....Source URL:https://www.wealthmanagement.com/forums/lounge/uhhhhh-ok
