Wow! One can learn a lot about someone by their taste in music.

What have you learned.  I'm gonna repeat something I'm sure you've heard before.  Never judge a book by it's cover.

That you and I would not get along well.

You want to learn a little:  Here's some of the music I like.  U2, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Willie Nelson, Tony Bennet, Earth Wind and Fire, Tupac, Eminem, Sinatra, Mary J, Jason Mraz, Kings of Leon, Bettye Leyvette, Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, Harry Connick Jr., Kanye West, Marc Broussard, Snoop, Robin Thicke, Beastie Boys, Steely Dan, Counting Crows, Al Jarreau, R.E.M., The Bullocks, The Sex Pistols, Creed, Lil Wayne, Pavorotti, The Temptations, Lenny Kravitz, Jack Johnson, BOB MARLEY, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Amos Lee, Ben Harper, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Beck, Blink 182, Velvet Revolver, Wyclef, 311, 50 cent, White Stipes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Vines, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Rise Against the Machine, Santana, The Roots, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Scissor Sisters, Prince, Queen, Ozzy, O.A.R., NeYo, Maroon 5, Cold Play, Killers, Skynard, Kid Rock, John Mayer, Mellancamp, Johnny Cash, Justin Timberlake, Gun's and Roses, Bob Dylan, Buffet, John Legend, The Boss, The Fray, Fergie, Tool,

Awe f*** It.  I'm getting tired.  Tell me what you learned.    Let me just say this.  I like music, I like all music, except for the older country sh*t except for Willie.  The newer stuff isn't so twangy, so I'm listening to more of that.    I hoped you learned something.

As long as Bono only sings and doesn’t start politicizing I’m OK with U2.  I’ve not watched Letterman all week because I didn’t think I could handle the gushing over Obama.

I read a story once that told of U2 performing a concert in Dublin I believe, and Bono started clapping his hands slowly saying, “A child dies every time I clap my hands!”, trying to make his usual dramatic point.  One of the concert-goers yelled, “Then stop clapping, ya focking idiot!”

  Gotta love the Irish!

Bono is a tool.

It never fails to amaze that some people who are blessed with God-given talents believe that the public spends a sizeable portion of their income to go to a concert in order to hear their opinions on global warming or the plight of the mirgrant farm worker.

Sounds like you just wrote down the entire content of my itunes library.

What I learned is that you and I have similar taste in music and that music taste has very little to do with a person’s character or work ethic or general intelligence.

Just my 2 cents.
