Out Shopping?

Sep 5, 2007 2:54 pm

There is so little going on today that I'm wondering if the boys and girls are out shopping for disguises to wear when their clients get their August statements.

I suggest something simple--say one of  those Groucho Marx deals with a big plastic nose, black glasses and a black moustache.

Hold on to it, you'll want to wear it again on October 31st.

Putsy, My typical client is up right about 1% in August and right about 9% YTD. Once again, you prove that you are a laughing stock. Keep it up!

My wife was up 4.8% in August and just under 18% YTD.  All she does is leg into covered call positions.

Why would she want to change her money to you?

Put your wife on the horn. I have (non-market related) questions.

Sorry, she's playing tennis.

That’s too bad, Putsy, as she’s obviously the only one with any sort of intellectual power in your household (if, of course, she actually exists). I guess you’ll just have to keep posting your usual contradictory blather, holding your pposition as laughing stock.

That's great, if you were half that good you wouldn't have lost all that money in the "sure thing" RIMM trade, how's that gonna look on the 15th by the way?
