The "other" rr forum
Ok folks…well I was having my doubts, but now Bobby Hull has banned me from the other board…because in the end he couldn’t handle having someone else disagree with him. He’s a total loser…first he changed my avatar and then he banned me to the ghetto. When I told him I didn’t care if I got out, then he banned my IP address. He ever even had the guts to answer my post to him in ‘the ghetto’…the forum for special BH banned members.
Never mind whether he had the guts to respond to my post in the members’ forum and leave me as an active member. He can’t handle the idea that ANYONE would stand up to him in his sandbox.
So you can stay if you want, but I’m done with Bobby and his playroom. It’s too bad that Ferris didn’t take a stand and put a stop to this nonsense, because I think Bobby is going to ruin their little alternative forum.
Don’t forget, people, that Bobby Hull is behind the ‘outing’ of a number of members of this forum and other forums as well. You might want to keep that in mind as you consider whether or not to participate in his forum. I’d put that issue aside in my mind for a while, but not any longer.
If Bobby decides to post anything amusing about me while I’m not there to defend myself, feel free to share it here so I can see what he has to say…

Ferris if you want to see both sides of the story you need to also consider the many posts that BH made taking potshots at me in the last few months. They may have started out as poking fun but after a while you cross a line and it gets real old.
If we’re going to talk about ‘rude’ let’s make sure we also consider BH’s frequent habit of calling other forum members “homos” when he can’t come up with anything better, among other things. Real mature stuff.
And incidentally, despite BH trying to imply otherwise, I did not mean to insult other forum members, including yourself. I am sorry if any of you felt that way. I did, however, mean to insult him, and for that I shall not apologize. It’s rather amusing how thin-skinned he is when the shoe is on the other foot.
Ironically, even if I was inclined to apologize, I could not do so, because your moderator instantly banned me “to the ghetto for a year”. Then he couldn’t even handle me being in the ghetto, so he banned my IP. I never knew a “failed planner” could be such a threat.
Even if we don’t agree, Ferris, I appreciate that you have responded to the dispute in a professional manner. Props to you for that. It’s too bad I couldn’t stick around your place and learn a little and contribute now and then as well. But hey…BH already knows everything, so why would you need me?

Hmmm, so, Ferris, doesn't like flamingos ...hmmm, but does like to hang out with the nastiest and most evil of all cyberbullies--how about that! Definitely reflects his character, doesn't it? Of course, he would side with him: they're business partners. This cyberbully was so bad that he was banned from this site and he's in the biz. In fact, Ferris and his butt buddy wanted to ize people, post their ip's and hunt them down with their 12 gage!
I predict that eventually maybe Ferris will get enough, too, and defect back to this site -- but, judging from his signature line: Ferris = BH: same mean spirited mentality but BH is just an abusive, power hungry admin who wants everyone to bow down to him. Eventually, others will get enough of this, too. Funny: How joedbrkr and BH were best buds here with a neutral admin. In essence, the dispute was about this...BH took ANOTHER swing at me as he has many times since I passed the CFP...another reference to 'failed planner' which is one of his favorite terms for years. So I called him an annuity salesman, and suggested that perhaps he was more concerned about closing the sale and collecting a paycheck than he was serving the client's best interest. He didn't take that overly well, and decided to ban me from his sandbox. That's it in a nutshell.
Hey Joe, just out of curiousity, I noticed you stopped posting on TGP also. Any reason to that? Did you have a falling out with the admin there? I really respect your opinions and I think you’re a valuable contributor to these types of forums and I see that you are no longer a participant in two of the major ones.
No falling out. Just sorta drifted away. I’ve checked back every now and then at TGP. It had honestly seemed to me like the activity had become so low on that forum that there was no need to check in frequently.
There are some good folks on there, though, and some good information as well. So maybe I should go back now that I’m done with BH and his BS.
My concern about TGP was being outed, but I think that BH was the source of that problem there and he’s no longer on TGP.
If you think BH and Ferris’ forum is a “major forum” you’re kidding yourself. It had promise, but activity has declined notably, and he’s methodically kicking off any contributor that he doesn’t like…and that list grows every day.
Hardly, but keep defending Bobby and that’s exactly what your forum will become.

We love to talk in analogies so look at it this way - If you go to a party somebody's house you might be able to get away with slapping one of the other partygoers, but you walk up and smack the owner of the house you are definitely getting thrown out. What's happening in this situation is that the owner is not only throwing that guy out, but he's also standing around waiting for anyone else to make a comment about what he did so he can throw those guys out too. He banned me for life this afternoon for my previous post. I think the party is just about over. Hopefully not. This trainwreck was going to happen one way or the other. We were silly enough to jump on board for the 1st leg of the ride.
Frankly, it couldn’t have been any worse than what we had over here at the time. I’m not sure this board will ever be what it was because moderation was non-existent for far too long. It took a hit that will take a long time to recover from. There are a lot of good people at the alternative forum and without their participation, this board isn’t the same. Will it ever be the same? The jury’s out, but I doubt that continuing to grouse about another forum is the way to make this one better.
