My dad died in December. He was a die hard Cub fan for 50+ years. Now after he has passed on the Cubs are on a roll
I am a Cub fan even if I no longer live in Ill.

Unfortunately, no one in the NL central is tearing it up this year, despite the fact that the Cubs spent $300 million in the offseason and got Sweet Lou for their manager…you’d think they’d have more to show for all that…and instead, we’ve got a 3-way horserace of .500 mediocrity…
Oh god do I know that. One of my buddies is an obsessive Cubbies fan and I have to hear about it 14 times a day.
I wish the Mets played them more though... After taking 5 out of 7, I was about $100 bucks richer...
