Reverse Mortgages and Brokerage

I am registered to do reverse mortgages and was doing them before getting into the brokrage industry. I’m not currently doing them but would like to. I was told by a friend I can’t legally do financial advising/insurance and reverse mortgages it’s a one or the other deal. Does anyone know anything about this issue?

You can legally do both. That being said, legality is a moot point because it is very doubtful that your B/D will allow this as an outside business activity.
