Some firms pass out a 2 pager each time a broker quits the firm.. Essentially that 2 pager says that in return for getting reassigned accounts you agree not to solicit for 1 yeat, etc.
Does the Protocol agreement trump this series of 1 off contracts? Also, can a firm rquit from protocol without condition? Do they need to give a 90 day window for example?Oct 31, 2008 10:12 am

If you want legal counsel about the validity of contracts, this forum would not seem to be the best place to turn.
Similarly, the time to get legal counsel on the implications of signing an agreement is before you sign it. Don’t be like the sheeple who sign first and ask questions later, and then complain that they didn’t understand what they were signing.
