Non-Traded REITS are horrible

I’ve been a financial advisor for 20 years and I want to warn all other advisors to not make the mistakes I did. To put it simply: Non-traded REITS and similar investments are horrible (any non-traded investments). It destroyed my practice. I don’t care what the wholesaler says. I don’t even care what the prospectus says. I have money in fifteen of them that I invested from 2010-2015 and Every One of them lost money. I even had to go into arbitration for one of them where I got dinged on my BrokerCheck. I have lost countless clients and the remaining ones are furious. DO NOT SELL THEM. I am shocked that these programs still exist and that advisors are putting BILLIONS into them. STAY AWAY.
