Does Raymond James do anything more then background check?

Every 3 other firms I've worked for in the past 3 years have never done anything besides background check, education, and credit. Nothing else. Vanguard and charles schwab dig a little deeper to "weed" out canidates. They say so right on their website.
Raymond james website says this one background check, credit and education. Safe to say that is all they do? Anyone with experience with them willing to chime in?

Yes,
They do a background check. They even pulled up a misdemeanor arrest that was expunged.
