Variable Annuities

Does anyone here use variable annuities for their clients? The commissions are better than mutual funds and they seem to make a lot more sense with the guarantees.

The search key is located at the top of the page just to the right of center.  I suggest starting with a search for "annuity".

I was kind of wondering about them too.  Where did you learn about them?  I just found out about them a couple weeks ago.  They seem like a good alternative to VUL.   What did you learn about them?

All I know is that they're real easy to sell and the commissions are real good.

[/quote]   Hmmmmmmm...easy to sell?  I don't know, I heard most clients and advisors don't know anything about them.    Commissions are real good?  If you have a fee based business, and charge 1.25%, over the 7 year surrender period, you will make 8.75%.  If you sell an annuity with a 7 year surrender and make 7.25%, you will make about 1.04% per year.   That's about all I know.  What else did you hear?  I've tried to search "annuities" but I can't find much of anything worthwhile.    Where are you getting all this information?  I wish someone would tell me about this stuff...

All I’m here for is to make you say
"He’s a troll, just trying to get you all going again."

Mission accomplished. I own you.
