Tri-fold Brochure

Jun 4, 2009 5:07 pm

Do any of you have your own tri-fold brochure to give to clients/prospects?

I am in the process of creating one because there have been many times I could've handed them out or mailed them with something or given them to a client to give to a friend, etc...   I have run out of information and ideas to put in the brochure though and I have one empty section.  Originally I was going to put client testimonials on it, but the compliance dept. said if you advertise fee based business anywhere, you can't have any testimonials.   So as of now, the brochure consists of the following:  Products and Services offered, our core beliefs and principles, our bio, and contact information, as well as pictures throughout.   Any suggestions on what could be added to take up one section?   Thanks.

If you do fee based business, you can’t use testimonials (as you know).  But, an acceptable practice is to provide a “representative list” of business / non-profit clients (that you have as clients).  It would have to have the mandatory disclosure that the list isn’t an endorsement of your services, yada yada yada.  Compliance could still smack this down though.

[/quote]   Actually, I am already using a full length photo of myself sporting a man-gina...so I think the spreadeagle pose may be overkill...

What about a quote from someone like Sir John Templeton? Maybe something philanthropic - plug a local charity or something… Picture of your kids teeball team with your your sponsored shirts?

A quote is a good idea.  I don't think a photo of strippers in our sponsored thongs will go over well...maybe I should look into a tee-ball team...
