Life Settlements

Does anyone know about working for a Life Settlement company?? I know someone in sales that is making 500k plus with no financial background calling on Independents. Sounds like easy money? What does the future hold for this industry? If the estate tax is not made permanent will this business dry up? What's your thoughts?

A Life Settlement is the sale of an in-force life insurance policyowner from a qualified policyowner owner for the present value of the future net death benefits. Life Insurance firms are fighting the growth of the life settlements.
