Left Mother Jones - now what?

For God’s sake buy them some new T-shirts!  Use the Jones ones for car cleaning rags.  Tell them to shut up and quit whining. If they want to go to Chicago, get summer jobs and save their own money.  Ungrateful brats.

Take a small portion of your much higher payout, take them to Chicago
for the weekend at a nice hotel, and buy them some new shirts…

Tell them you made a decision for the family and since your in charge there will be no more talk about JONES in this house! Daddy is in control of our future not Jones!

You should not have to explain your business decisions with your children except to maybe make them aware of information above.

If the family trip is so big for you. Take them to the islands in the winter not Chicago in the summer. Everyone will be happy ever after.

What reason is there to go to Chicago unless you are catching the Cubs at 1:20?

Take 'em to Maui- any time of the year- and let 'em know that this is what you can afford for them now that you’re on your own. They’ll burn the “jones kid” t-shirts all on their own.
