Cross asset modeling?

Mar 10, 2006 1:42 am

I am living out here in the indy world and its nice that I am not forced to use any particular asset manager anymore. However I am working on a large case right now and I want to use a couple SMA's, UIT's and some funds to build a portfolio. I have taken a look at LPL's portfolio review, but it only keeps active track of funds and equities, no help for UIT's, SMA's or alternative investments. Do any of you use software that will connect and show historical returns for several different asset types from different families?

Thanks

Giff,

Hey, I'd try calling LPL's advisory department and asking them to run the report for you.  I think that Zephyr will allow you to do this as well.

Happy Friday!

Thanks! So they will plug in whatever I want and spit out a report? Can they show historic returns from SMA's, UIT's and funds all at one time?
