Commercial Paper

Aug 14, 2007 8:32 pm

Reuters is carrying a story this afternoon that there is a probable meltdown in the commercial paper market that could rival the subprime fiasco.

I guess we should just ride it out?  After all the market never goes down, right?

We've been in a 75 year bull market, no reason to be concerned.

You are pathetic.

Saved him some time.  It is an interesting article.  Typical of news reports though.  Everything is going to cause everything to crash.

Perhaps it's all a function of a herd mentality and greed.  Rates were low, everyone wants to make money, so lend it to anyone who can hold a pen and sign his name.  Time to pay the piper.  Sucks to be an investor getting caught in the middle.
