Calling All Oustanding, Philanthropic Advisors: It's Our 33rd Annual Advisors with Heart Awards

If you are a retail financial advisor (independent, RIA-affiliated, wirehouse --- it doesn't matter where you sit), please contact me or any of the WealthManagement.com and REP. staffers. We are searching for candidates to receive our 33rd annual Advisors with Heart Awards. The award and profiles (and articles on how-to incorporate philanthropic advice into your practices) will appear in the May print issue and online. Here is last year's winners

Inveterate readers will remember the awards as the Oustanding Broker Award, but that didn't describe the awards accurately enough. (And besides, who wants to be called a broker these days?) Each year we pick 10 excellent, sophisticated FAs who do more than practice financial planning or merely write checks to charitable organizations.

We are looking for that and more: FAs who put sweat equity (as well as money) into a cause or charity and take a leading role in the charity of their choice. Again, the special report will run in the May issue and we invite readers to send us names and descriptions of what some FAs are doing out there to help others. Please feel free to call us and email us.
