Raymond James Recruits $2.3 Million Producers from Morgan Stanley

The team, from Tucson, Ariz., was attracted to the broker/dealer’s connection with clients, something the big firms are lacking.

Raymond James has recruited a team of Tucson, Ariz.-based advisors with $210 million in client assets and $2.3 million in annual production to its employee channel, Raymond James & Associates. The team joins from Morgan Stanley.

The team, which includes advisors Ramon Burrola, Ivan Burrola, Alex Burrola, Adalberto Rosas and Guillermo Elias, will now operate as The Burrola Global Financial Group of Raymond James. Their office will be managed by Robert Burghart, southwest complex manager.

“What initially attracted us to Raymond James was its slogan, ‘Client First’; many big firms are losing that connection with clients,” said Ivan. “Also, the hands-on marketing team that provides the ability to customize our website, and overall the way you are allowed to brand yourself was very appealing.”

The team conducted due diligence on full-service brokerage options for two years before landing on Raymond James.
