Does anyone have a good outline of what they do when they first sit down with a proscpect?  What steps do you go through with them and how do you discuss the working relationship?  Please be as detailed as possible.

When I'm setting the appt I tell them the meeting will be about 60 minutes depending on how many questions they have.

I tell them that the first 50 minutes I simply want to sit back and listen to their concerns and goals. The last 10 minutes I will explain how I work with clients.

At the end of the 60 minutes we'll both make a determination as to if this is a good fit; relationship wise.

Pretty simple. No high pressure. I probably reject more clients than I accept due to:
1) Acct size
2) Trading expectations
3) Prior experiences with advisors

Even when I reject them, I provide some info so hopefully they leave on a positive note.

Good luck!
