(Bloomberg) --Fidelity Investments Chief Executive Officer Abby Johnson addressed employees about allegations of workplace abuse on Monday and said the firm has “no tolerance at our company for any type of harassment.”

Johnson issued the message in an internal video that was sent to the company’s more than 40,000 workers, according to a transcript of the video seen by Bloomberg News.

“We simply will not, and do not tolerate this type of behavior, from anyone,” Johnson said in the video. “When allegations of these sorts are brought to our attention, we investigate them promptly and take appropriate action.”

She added: “This is an extremely important issue for me and the leadership team and one that should be very important to each and every associate. My expectation is that we continue fostering a work environment where all associates are treated with courtesy, compassion and respect.”
