I joined AGE last year in October. I have been in production 4 months and brought in 5mm in assets since. I was on a floor for two years. What do think will happen to me if WB is sold?

Nothing....as long as you keep working.

You will now be a SB advisor, along with everyone else as WB. If those are “good” assets (not family, not one big account, etc.), and that is indicative of your true pace, you’ll have a job anywhere. Somehow I am guessing you won’t maintain that pace, but congrats if you do - you’ll be rich in a few short years.

Unfortunately, There's no one rushing to us with info. I just didn't know if they would keep the contract that I had or bonus me to stay if they wipe out my floor. I have opened 100+ accts and seem to be keeping pace on assets.

you’ll be fine.  keep your head down, blinders on, and focusing on your client.  Any  future manager will recognize your effort.  Also, keep in mind, SB or these other wires are hurting right now so not going to be as harsh as you may think.  You’ll get a fair chance to show them your worth it.

What info do you expect WB to provide at this point, when THEY have no idea how this will end up?  Focus on controlling what you can control and keep building your business.  If you do that, you’ll be in good shape regardless of what transpires at the corporate level.

And for those of us who haven’t been new for a while (sounds so much better than saying grizzled old guys), please clarify what you mean by “your floor.”  Obviously some minimum payout regardless of the current month’s production, but is this a new name for a draw?

Take home some of your personal assets out of the office–be ready to be escourted to the door anytime–it might never happen–good luck!  I hate punting in a football game but sometimes when your 4th and 40–on your own 5 – it’s a smart thing to do!

I have beer in the office today for the first time in 16 years!
