Hello,

Long time reader / First time poster here. Does anyone here work in or know of the Charlotte Smith Barney office? Just curious as to the culture of this particular office and any information as to the management style in this particular office. I appreciate your time and insight.

Thanks!

I would recommend calling the office and talking to their reps. I received the best feedback doing this, of course all the EJ reps filled me full of hot air.

Thanks, EZ. That is a good idea and was on my list of things to do. My fear, like yours, is to be informed of only the positives rather than the truth.

Do you know any local mutual fund or annuity wholesalers? I was able to get a lot of good background info that way during my last move.

If you are already employed at another firm, however, you need to be VERY careful who you ask.

You could also drop in for an unplanned visit, or see if there is somewhere nearby that employees regularly go for lunch or happy hour.
